Romney Nominee as Santorum Drops Out: Blog Never Wrong

Oh, I don't pretend this was a hard onne. But you will remember that this blog CALLED the GOP nomination race BEFORE the Illinois primary, even as this blog continued to endorse Santorum. Hard or easy, this blog is almost never wrong (accurqacy rating: 99.9%). The "news" right now is that Santorum has now droppedout of the race. Readers of this blog, of course, knew the winner long ago.

The RACIST media, by the way, is still out there (talking about CNN and the rest) trying to TRASH Marco Rubio as not being a "reaL' Hispanic, because (like George Zimmerman) Rlubio is not Mexican-American. Translation: Rbuio is not LEFTIST enough for them, and real Hispanics are leftist. The media is also trying to TRASH Chris Christie. This blog continues to assert that Romney has virtually no choice by to choose either Rubio or Christie as his VP choiice. IF Romney is going to go elsewhere, or those two do not WANT to be the VP nominee, then Romney had BETTER prepare the way for someone else. I don't think Romney can afford a choice "out of the blue". If, for example, Romney weere to ick a really RADICAL choice (is that reallly Romney?), like Susanna (not sure of spelling, even though familiar with HER in the next door sate of new Mexico, a state which SURROUNDS El lPaso) Martinez, Romney MUST "prepare the way" by getting such a person 'out front" (even if the choice is not announced until the convention). I jsut don't see any realistic choice but Rubio or Christie (forget Ryan, as Romney should). Someone like Pawlenty, or some other governor, would be a HUGE mistake. Christie is a governor, like Romney was, but Chistie is DYNAMIC, and brings an energy that Romney simply does not have (or appear to have, which is the same thing). Christie actually SAYS things, which the medaia thinks they can USE against him. But that is also his VIRTUE. It offfsets the "too careful" Romney.

No. This is NOT "partisan" advice I am giving Romney. As this blog has stated, I am a completely DISINTERESTED person here. This blog will NOT endorse EITHER Romney or Obama for Presdient, and willl not support eihter. That has not changed, simply because Santorum has now dropped out of the race. I am merely calling them as I see them, as I CALLED Romney as the nominee long ago.

Anyone think there is really another "good" choice for Romney's VP? I would really like to know, because I jsst don't SEE any other real choice out there. Notice that I am not talking aobut people ou might LIKE to be President some day. I am talkng aoubt someone with a reasonable chance of actually HELPING Romney to win the electin (basically the ONLLY basis for choosing a VP, despite all of this sanctimoniouis ROT about choosing the person "best" "qualified" to be President, if that were to happen). Jeb Bush? Forget it, and not just because I can't stand him. A DEMOCRAT (like McCain flirted with Lieberman)? John Boklton? Great on foreign policy, but a HELP to Romney? If Romney finds some BLAND establishment figure out there (Mitch Daniels?--forget it), then Romney deserves to lose (which would not bother me anyway). Whether Romney agrees with me that thre is NO other REASONABLE choice other than Rubioin or Christie, perhaps because Romney finds out about potential "skeletons" in their closets, I am definitely RIGHT about the basci principles here, which come down to these:

1. Romney must be BOLD, without going OBSCURFRE. Sure, the race is realy going to be abut Obama, and Obama himself went SAFE (sort of), with the hopeless Joe Biden . But Romney needs COLOR. Somone like Martinez reamains a possibility, but she is just SO RISKY (reminding people, if chosen, of Sarah Palin). And don't think the media would fail to ATTACK Martinexz, just because she is Hisspanic. Those RACISTS (media) ahve no shame, no morals, no standards, and are the worst hypocrites to ever walk the Earth. I have heard CNN GTRASHING the Rubioo choice as CYNICAL (because Rubio is Hspanic). IF you will be that big a HYPOCRITE, there is nothing you will not do--no hypocrisy you will not commit.

2. Romney CANNOT pay any attentin to a media out to DESTROY him. Oh, IF Romney is gong to go for a 'out of the blue' choice, he would be well advisded to SEE what the media is gong to do to DESTROY such a person ahead of time (putting th e name out there). But you don't LISTEN to these EVIL people (of the media) . You simply EVALUATE whehter they come up with any REAL problems. Rubio being Cuban-American, rather than Mexican-American, is NOT a "real" problmem. Christie being FAT, or even outsponken, do not represent "real "problems. Extramaritla affairs, sexual harrassment and the like: that kid of thing represents a REAL problem (for a GOP candidate). Bobby Jindal, of Louisiana? I just don't see he ADDS anyhing to Romney. The problem almsot EVERYONE ahs besides Rubion and Christie is that they are NOT OUT THERE. They have not been "on the front lines' of ISSUES in the past few years. Rubio HAS been OUT THERE (althugh not lately in a way I lke much). Christie ahas been OUT THRe. Now that can be a disadvantage ("baggage"). But I just don't seee how you can SPRING someone unknown on t he public.

3. Ignore the GOP establishment and the "Bush wing" of the GOP. Waht am I saying? Romney is virutually the POSTER CHILD for the GOP establishmentl--at least the Wall Street wing of tghe GOP establishment. You reallyl can't be governor of Massachusetts, and be anything else (as a GOP governor). Still, Romney MUST avoid going with some "establishment" guy with NO TALENT.

As I said, I would be glad for any comment here on OSSIBIILTIES I have ignored. Deliver me from John Boehner, or the likfe, or someone like Mitch McConnell. Ditto as to some onld "Bush hand", with a history of service in the old Bush Administrations (or even in the Reagan Administration, which wuld be getting pretty ol,ld anyway). You can see my proiblem. I cna't even THINK of anyone who would be a HELP to Romney, besides Rubio or Christie--even POTAENTIALLY. Rick Santorum? Can't help Romney, because he merely would ut Romney back into the "social issue" problem which Romney "used" to BEAT Santroum. Senator Demint? Both too obscure, and too "extreme" for Romney to DEFEND. Romney needs to be COMFORTABALE with the choice, as McCaain (to his eternal shame) never was with Palin. Me? Perfect coice, except for that minor "kookism" like not believing that women should have the vote. Again, if Romneyis gonig to find someone OTHER than Christie or Rubio, he better PREPARE THE WAY. I see no one else with any "credibiity" at all. Ron Paul? ...........................................Sorry. On the floor laughing again, altough not crying this time.......I would vote for aul as PRESIDENT, but he ain't going to be either Presdient or Vice Presdient. Gingrich? Not even worth laughing or crying. Absurd.

Again, where are the possible candidates who have SPOKEN UT--wether the ublic is that aware of thme our not? Sure, aul Ryan has spokne out, but in a way that makes him "toxic" in terms of helpng Romney. I don't think that is true of Rubo or Christie (albeit Christie will have some issues raised about what he has said by a media which has already served notice they will try to dESTROY him on that basis).

I realy invite any comment on this one, as to even OSSIBLE choices besides Rubioo or Christie. If it is NOT Rubio or Christie, I expect some BLAND, estalbishment type (like Joe Biden was for Obama, but Obama had his OWN excitement factor). Mike Huckabee? I jsut don't see it.

P.S. No proofreading or spell checkng (bad eyesight). Jon Huntsman? Antoher Mormon from Utah? Give me a greak. Scott Brown? Anntoher Massachusentss "moderate"? Double give me a break. One of the GOP women Senators? I don't see it. None have made ANY national impact. Romney might WANT to find a woman. I presently don't see he, if you are tying to find someone more experienced than Governor Martinez, who will have national credibility. Now if Romney can find a SAFE woman, with adequate experience, the chooice might "help" Romney with that "oman's vote". But does such a woman exist? Meg Whitman might have qualified if she had WON in California. Romney REALLLY needs to avoid the typical, "GOP lookng" , "white male". Sure, Christie is a "hite male,' but hardly yur TYPICAL "white male". Rick Perry? Lol. A lot of GOP talent out there, who have recently won elections, but NONE who I think will actually HEP Romney. Again, that is really the ONLY "qualification" that Romney is looking at. If he looks too far left, however, that is naother problem for him (such as the Mainse Senators) Either Christie or Rubion would be "acceptable" to me (realizing that Romney, himself, is NOT).
